Fee Schedule & Registration Policies

Membership Fees

Humber Valley Rowing Club Members are required to pay the HVRC Membership Fees for their Club Program before water access is granted and before being permitted to use any HVRC equipment.

 

Late Enrollment:

Late enrollment can almost always be accommodated in our club programs.

 

Program Cancellation:

We reserve the right to cancel programs if enrollment numbers don’t meet minimum requirements. All registrants will be notified if program is cancelled and monies refunded.

 

Statutory Holidays:

The majority of our programs run on statutory holidays. Please confirm with your coxswain.

 

Annual Membership Fees

Adult – $150

Student – $120

 

Early Bird DiscountSave $20 dollars on your adult or student membership when you register before June 13th. The club must receive your fees before June 1st to be eligible for the Early Bird Discount. The submission of registration forms without the submission of fees will not be sufficient to receive the discount.

 

Make Up Policy

Safety is our primary concern. In the event of unfavourable weather and a class needs to be cancelled completely, a make-up session will be provided.  If a participant is unable to attend one of the classes for non-medical reasons, no make-up session will be provided.

 

Refunds

All refunds must be requested in writing to the Executive.

 

Season / Annual Programs

Before it begins or within the first week of the season – 100% refund may be provided.

After first week or within the fourth week of the season – 75% refund may be provided.

After fourth week or within the sixth week of the season – 50% refund may be provided.

After sixth week of the season – no refund will be provided.

*Exceptions may be made due to injury – written request to the executive is necessary and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.  A doctor’s certification is required.

 

Learn To Row Programs

Cancellation 10 days before the start date, a $5 refund fee OR full credit for another program in the same year.

Cancellation less than 10 days before start date, a $10 fee will apply or 50% credit for another program in the same year.

Credits or transfers may not be carried over into the next season. NO REFUNDS, CREDITS OR TRANSFERS WILL BE GIVEN ON OR AFTER THE START DATE OF THE PROGRAM.
